Located east of Marbella, Marbella East is a large area that encompasses several urbanisations, villages and suburbs that stretch from the edge of Marbella to Cabopino. It includes different stretches of coastline where you will find restaurants, hotels, and other attractions.
Leaving Marbella, you pass through many different suburbs on the beach side of the main road and on the mountainside, including Rio Real, Los Monteros, El Rosario, Elviria, and Las Chapas; and there are chiringuitos and restaurants along the beach every few hundred meters.
The properties on the east of Marbella stretch of the Coast vary widely from luxurious and opulent villas to modern apartments, to traditional, quaint fincas.
This section of the Costa del Sol is very popular because of its beaches, which have finer sand and there are less pebbles along the shore. The chiringuitos and restaurants found here are also some of the best in Marbella including Trocadero Arena, The Beach House and Nikki Beach.
In addition to beaches, the mountainside has a number of bars and restaurants, particularly in Elviria and El Rosario, as well as supermarkets, salons, schools, doctors, and vets.
